4x4 World Explorer

Trans-Amazon 2 have safely and successfully arrived at the destination of Lima, Peru on the 17th August, after traversing about 6000 kilometers through Venezuela, Brazil and Peru.

The Expedition started on the 25th July '10 with fanfare flag-off from the Heroes Memorial in Caracas, Venezuela co-ordinated by our superhot Land Cruiser friends from
www.just4cruisers.com.

The highlights of the expedition were:
1. Caracas, Capital of Venezuela.
2. Flew several times over The Angel Falls (Highest Waterfall in the world).
3. Camped at The Cainama National Park of The Gran Sabana.
4. Crossed the Waimiri Atroari Indigeneous Reservation.
5. Traversed the Amazon Jungles.
6. Ferried across the Rio Solimoes and Rio Negro at the Confluence of the Mighty Amazon River at Manaus.
7. Crossed the Triple Border of Brazil, Bolivia and Peru and Assis Brazil and Inapari.
8. Traversed The Andes Crossing at 5000 metres.
9. Visited Cusco, Machu Picchu, The Sacred Valley of the INCAS.
10. Flew over The Mysterious Nazca Lines, Nazca
11. Homerun along the Pan-Americana Highway to Lima, Capital of Peru.

Our Expedition battled trucks are on the way to Asuncion, Paraguay to be kept and serviced for the next big expedition to the Salar Uyuni in Bolivia next Spring 2011.

Everybody has flown home extremely happy, contented and experience the Journey of their Lives.
It's the Journey, Not the Destination.
