In Case of Emergencies (ICE)

What is ICE?

In case of emergency (ICE) is a programme that enables first responders, such as paramedics, firefighters, and police officers, to identify victims and contact their next of kin to obtain important medical information. The program was conceived in the mid-2000s and it encourages people to enter emergency contacts in their cell phone address book under the name "ICE". Alternately, a person can list multiple emergency contacts as "ICE1", "ICE2", etc. During Adventure Travels, Adventure Expeditions and Adventure Vacations the likelihood of serious accidents happening with no one around who knows you is very unlikely since we travel in convoy and have all your medicial details at hand but we at 4x4 World Explorer take personal health and safety as upmost importance and we feel that this scheme is a good idea that should be abopted not just for our expeditions but also for your normal day to day living.
